Tru-Pro was established in April 2015 in Bradwell, Newcastle-under-Lyme, following my redundancy from a landscaping company in Hartshill. With a passion for landscape gardening, I was devastated to learn that my former employer could no longer continue trading. Despite the limited job opportunities in gardening and landscaping in Stoke-on-Trent at the time, I decided to create my own job. Thankfully, my partner and I had been saving, providing some financial stability. I carefully considered the services I could offer and the values I wanted to uphold: top-notch workmanship, creativity, reliability, affordability, honesty, and customer satisfaction. These principles became the foundation of Evergreen Garden Services, which eventually evolved into Tru-Pro. To promote my business, I began distributing leaflets in Bradwell, offering a comprehensive range of services, from lawn and hedge cutting to paving and patios. However, the initial months were challenging and I contemplated abandoning my dream of being my own boss. Fortunately, the unwavering support of my family and partner kept me going during difficult times. With their encouragement, I persevered and, within three months, hired my first employee to meet the growing demand from customers in Stoke-on-Trent. Over time, I noticed a shift in customer preferences towards low maintenance gardens. In response, I made the strategic decision to specialize in creating virtually maintenance-free gardens using materials like decking and artificial grass. This niche focus allowed us to stand out in the market. Today, Tru-Pro continues to embody the values that have propelled us to become one of the most reputable and innovative gardening and landscaping companies in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. Our commitment to excellence has enabled us to expand our operations to South Cheshire and Derbyshire, alongside our established presence in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, to meet the increasing demands of our valued customers.
